Buyers who are not LICENSED MOTOR VEHICLE DEALERS must pay Washington State sales tax and any applicable title or license fees. In addition, Bellingham Public Auto Auction, LLC charges a 13% buyer premium on all vehicles and 15% on miscellaneous items purchased, as well as a $50 document fee on each vehicle purchased. If you are a  qualified nonresident of Washington State, you may be able to request a refund directly from the Washington State Department of Revenue for the retail sales tax you paid, starting January 1, 2020.

A $500 NONREFUNDABLE CASH deposit in US FUNDS ONLY is due immediately after winning the bid on a vehicle. THIS $500 DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE. If the deposit is not received, the vehicle will immediately be re-auctioned. FOREIGN CURRENCY IS NOT ACCEPTED. PRIVATE CHECKS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.

WARRANTY DISCLAIMER: ALL SALES ARE FINAL. The $500 DEPOSIT WILL BE FORFEITED UPON NON-PAYMENT IN FULL OF VEHICLE BY THE FOLLOWING MONDAY (Tuesday if it is a holiday weekend) AT 6PM PROCEEDING THE AUCTION. All items are sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with all faults and without any warranties as to merchantability of fitness for a particular purpose. The principal, the auctioneer and any of their agents make no expressed or implied warranties of any type.
